I use salt remover for washing the boat down. Is that good practice or a waste of money?

Salt removing products like Salt Away are great for helping to prevent salt build ups in your motor.

But we don't recommend using them to wash down your boat just in case they damage the wax protection on your gel coat.

A more suitable product will be a good fibreglass wash & plenty of fresh, soapy water. Give it a good rinse of and a chamois if you want to!
